Ha - my kids cannot be moved while asleep. In 6 years of life we successfully transferred Hemry ONCE after he fell sleep in the car (when he was 4). No joke. My kids need ideal circumstances to be sleeping (in their bed, very dark, etc). When those conditions are met all is good, but I have always been amazed at my friends' kids who randomly fall asleep places or can be moved while asleep. It is so weird to me.
Yes it's gotten way easier. But if she falls asleep in the car and I have to take her out of the seat she wakes up. I miss the infant seat because of this. Now I can put her to sleep drowsy and she most of the time stays asleep, just doesn't work as well for MOTN wake ups.
Depends on the kid. Now Nick sleeps like a rok but for the longest time there was no wy to transfer him when he was asleep without waking him. Alex is hard to transfer as well even though once she is out she is a sounds sleeper.

Definitely depends on the kids and how tired they are. Both my boys can be snoring and I can get them to walk on their own to their beds and they go right back to sleep. It's been this way for a while now. I've successfully gotten Lexi to her bed a couple of times lately after she's fallen asleep in the car.
