XP cat chewing problem!

Here's my issue- my cat is a year old and she's chewing on stuff. She had done this occasionally in the past, but stopped. She has chewed the plug/wire from my alarm clock, phone charger, plastic shower curtain liner, mini blinds. I've never had a cat do this...WTF? help!!

First step is to check for dental problems. Second is to get more toys. Is there anything in particular she seems to like to chew on? Try to during toys that are similar. It's probably just a phase.

Plastic seems to be the culprit.  Hope it's just a phase!

 Our 1 year old kittens are going thru this stage, too.  Our boy likes to chew on the outlet plugs for the lamps, and he keeps going behind the TV stand and getting into the wires back there.  Our girl keeps chewing/bending the mini blinds!  It is driving us crazy, too.  They have PLENTY of toys to play with, so I don't think it's out of boredom!  We use a water bottle and squirt them when we catch them.....

You can get a bitter spray to put on the cords. Plastic has a fishy smell so it may just help to have something else scenting it.
