--plain cheese ravioli --hummus on pita --slices of mango --mandarin oranges (regular oranges are ok though) --raisin toast --home fries --pizza, even if the cheese is mozzarella --hard boiled eggs
I thought ALL kids liked mandarin oranges! When I was little, I would eat them all day if I could.
Tell me if and how your LOs are surprising you with their food preferences. I'm curious!
Joshua loves hummus too, although he will just lick it off if it is on something. The one thing he HATES is pasta. All pasta. And I'm freaking italian. Go figure.
Wy will eat nothing but starches. And a smoothie in the morning. So I put spinach and flax seed in that smoothie so he get some nutrition. Wy is not a food fan. Bah.
Cam is not a fan of some meats. He likes weird 'meat', like bologna, but HATES ground beef. He gags so bad on it. He also doesnt like grilled chicken or pork

This isn't really what you are asking, but Henry surprised me last night with how much he ate. He ate an entire quesadilla and rice at a Mexican restaurant. It was big too. We may have a growth spurt coming on.
C hates pasta (he'll suck the sauce and/or filling off and spit out the noodle), non-melted cheese, and berries. I thought those were toddler staples! He'll eat just about anything else. He surprised me the other night by eating loads of grilled onions and green peppers.
Colin loves everything. I honestly haven't seen him turn his head at much. His favorite food lately is grits. I hate grits and they are revolting to me but my H gave him some at cracker barrel once and he went nuts for them. He eats grits every few days and throws a fit if I don't shovel it into his mouth quick enough. He would also eat chicken for every meal if I gave it to him.
Ari hates sweet potato fries and quesadillas. I'm like dude, do you know what you are missing?! I actually think it's because those things are really soft and he doesn't like crunchy things. Oh well, more for me!
ETA: Wait never mind, he loves crackers, pretzels and things like that. My kid is just weird.

Throws fits for grits. I find that nerdishly amusing. I used to eat grits as a kid with peanut butter mixed in.
My kid eats everything. Especially if I'M eating it. She's iffy on veggies lately, but I did figure out that she likes veggies in salad....so, she likes them with dressing on them. She LOVES beets more than anything, so that's a staple veggie for her. Apparently she doesn't like pudding though. They had it for snack at school and she wouldn't eat it. Actually, she's not much for sweet things unless it's fruit. She won't eat fresh mango though. She likes it pureed, but I don't think she likes the texture. She LOVES freeze dried fruit though.

Omg! With PB? I love peanut butter. I eat it everyday but in grits!? Gag! He really loves his grits though. I tried giving him cream of wheat because it has a lot of iron and he was not fooled
Anna eats a LOT. She loves omelets with a ton of veggies in them, all fruits, meat, rice, cheese, etc. She isn't a huge sweets fan, but likes it in moderation. She is much less picky than Jameson ever has been.
N is a bottomless pit and will pretty much eat everything and anything you put in front of him. He is able to sign for more....and uses it all the time.
BFF has one daughter who has always been picky, she was kinda shocked at how much N can eat, lol.

He will NOT eat broccoli. No matter how large or small. He's tried picking it out of a pierogi once. Anything else is fair game depending on the day, time or week.
Lately she's been loving fruit, especially kiwi and strawberries. She loves yogurt, cheese, croissants, banana bread and scrambled eggs. She really likes to throw her vegetables. The only way I can get her to eat vegetables lately is to give her a pouch, which depresses me because she just to eat vegetables really well. I'm hoping it's a phase.

G loves broccoli, one of her favorites. But won't eat avocado? She also loves goat cheese, extra sharp cheddar, ground meats, and most carbs. I think some things she doesn't eat now out of frustration BC she still only has 2 teeth and may not dislike.
She seems to like everything though things that are too hard to eat like grilled peppers/onions..l she gets bored. She seems to not be a fan of working for her food. I gave her a really hard "teething biscuit" figuring that will keep her busy a while, but when she realized how much work would be involved she flung it away.
If I make brocolli very soft she will eat it, if its at all firm its a no go.
Overall though she seems to like most things. She has no issue shoveling hummus in on top of banana which is so gross to me.

That is how my oldest is with grits! The kid begs for grits every morning! When we go out for breakfast, she orders the biggest bowl she can! The baby, however, HATES them!
Jamie is a big fan of pretty much all food. He's kind of a legend among my friends for the amount and variety he eats. His weirdest favorite food is beets and goat cheese. And oddly he doesn't like string cheese or any cheddar.
Zoe doesn't like bananas or strawberries, which I find so weird. She loves grains and beans, though.
ETA: She will eat bananas and strawberries in other things, so I think it's a texture thing.
Zoe and I have that in common. The idea of taking a bite of banana grosses me out, but I have no problem if it's blended or baked into something. Same goes for strawberries.
