Best: Tears of the Moon by Nora Roberts. It's number 2 in the Gallaghers of Ardmore trilogy. I read number 1 too, but number 2 was so much better. I loved the characters and how they all interacted with each other. I literally lol'd a few times.
Worst: I didn't actual read anything terrible, but my least favorite was my re-read of The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I'd read it before and I was only reading it again so that I could see the movie lol.
Best: Where'd You Go Bernadette by Maria Semple I thought the format was quite original, and the details around the Antarctica expedition were surprisingly accurate.
Worst: Grace Notes by Bernard MacLaverty It was beautifully written and insightful, but the book just didn't go anywhere.
There were no standouts for me either way this month.
Dead Ever After and Age of Innocence were exactly what you'd expect from them and Eichmann in Jerusalem: A Report on the Banality of Evil was intriguing, but not something I'd recommend unless the person had a specific intersecting interest.
Best: Ender's Game - I enjoyed this book a whole lot more than I thought I wouldd.
Worst: Well not *worst* but book I could not get into for the life of me..World War Z. I was hoping it would be similar to The Passage and The Twelve but something about it just isn't working for me.

Ender's Game is on of my favorite books! I'm looking forward to seeing the movie, it has Harrison Ford and Ben Kingsley in it!
I tried to get into World War Z but just couldn't.
