It has been a crazy week. I drove down with L to our new town. After hour #3, she was angry and bored. We are doing the same thing this week when we close. Not as excited as I should be. I am going to see if someone wants to drive down with me.
I was also diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I got some meds but haven't started them yet. I have a month supply and I have to find an endo in my new town. Hopefully it will fix some things I've been dealing with.
As far as L goes, girl is still crawling backwards and scooting on her butt. And just today she pulled herself up to stand. I couldn't believe it!! So proud of my babe. She is still so friendly and loving (except when it comes to car rides longer than 3 hours, ha). I am very lucky.

I have hypothyroidism, actually Hashimoto's Disease and once you get it under control it's pretty easy to manage. It took about 8 weeks to level out on my synthroid. Let me tell you, that synthroid is a miracle! Once I started taking it I dropped about 35 lbs in those 8 weeks, however the first 3 weeks or so I didn't lose any weight. Do you have a hard time losing weight? I sure did before I was diagnosed.
If you have any questions let me know But congrats on getting an answer as to what is going on with your body. It took me four years of trips to various doctors before I finally found one who would listen to me and dug a little deeper to find my autoimmune disease. I seriously feel decades younger since I started taking my meds. No joke, I felt like I was 70 years old. GL to you!

Annabel Juliette was born Thursday morning. Luckily, she come one day before i was going to have to be induced- just like her big sister did. She and I are doing great, and Beckett and Maisy have both been doing really well so far with the addition to our family. Once again, I am completely smitten with my sweet baby
Labor was fairly quick and easy. I woke up at 3:30 and just had a feeling it was starting, and right away started having strong, long contractions that were 5 minutes apart. We got to the hospital within a couple hours, and they didn't even bother checking me first, they just got me right into a room. My doctor wanted to break my water right away, but I asked to wait until after my epidural, and for our moms to get there (they have both been present for all of their grandchildren's births and I didn't want a chance of them missing the last one). Got my epidural, which unfortunately only ever really worked on one side. I would've much rather have had it fully work, but it wasn't terrible.
After that the doctor came in and broke my water. About 45 minutes later, I mentioned I was feeling the contractions frequently and pretty strongly on the side the epidural wasn't working on, and she checked me and I was ready to go. I had to wait on the doctor, and the nurse had another doctor ready to run in just in case, but I was able to hold off for my own doctor. On my second push, the doctor said something about getting the shoulders out and I thought: well first I have to get her head out, having no idea it was already out! One more push and there she was, under 2 minutes of pushing, at 9 lbs 2 oz, with a head full of very dark hair. Annabel is perfectly healthy, and I've had very little recovery thanks to such an easy labor and delivery. Breast feeding is going great, and we are all adjusting well.
The only sad thing was I missed Beckett's preschool graduation, which was Thursday night I had a feeling it would work out like that, but I have to say, he handled my not getting to be there very well. He's totally in love with his new baby sister, so he was okay with it.
I'm 30 weeks today (!!) and so not ready. I can't believe I'm next. But I can't stop things now, and I'm sure all will be ok once he's actually here. I've been more and more uncomfortable, but that comes with the territory. I have to go tomorrow to get my Rhogam shot, boo. I was supposed to get it a while ago, but have been having some issues getting it ordered and all that junk.
We went to Disney for the last time for a while yesterday and yeah, I can't do that again anytime soon. It was nasty hot and I just can't keep up. I'm thinking we're looking at a pretty low-key summer, which I'm sure Q won't appreciate. But he'll be at swim lessons and spending time with his cousins, so hopefully he'll get his energy out somehow.
Oh, and if you think about it, send some T&Ps out to CA, as there is a girl on my BMB who has to deliver her DS today at 31 weeks due to HELLP syndrome.
Had my 16 week appt today. The Dr took about 2 full minutes to find the heartbeat with the Doppler. It was actually a little scary for me since I was so sick last week. But she finally found it, apparently very high. I carried Amelia super high also. Her head was in my ribs from 30 weeks on.
Amelia is having awful diaper rash and chaffing. I've been keeping it under control with Bag Balm but her skin is just like mine. Sensitive. She's got a bruise on her forehead, scrapes on both arms, and about 10 bug bites. People are always surprised at how young she is when they ask because she's so strong physically. Her words are still slow but coming together. She says bubbles and apple now!! And I'm "pretty" sure she says "I love you".
It's been a while since I have updated on the girls, but with the end of the school year, our household has been super busy. Madeline's teething has been unbearable! I have tried absolutely everything possible and the only thing that remotely worked was ibuprofen. Finally the two teeth she's been working on finally popped! I rejoiced! She is crawling like a champ and is trying to pull herself up. I can't believe she will already be 11 months old this month!
MacKenzie just finished up her first year of pre-school and will be doing dance and swim class in the next week. She is super excited for both. She's testing our patience lately, but she really is a cool kid. She's probably the smartest 3 year old I know and I cannot WAIT to spend time with both my girls this summer!
Nothing too crazy new with me. I had some of the brown spotting/discharge over the weekend but I knew it was ok. It still sucks to see it, though. I think I'm done with it now. (I called my OB just in case and they weren't concerned) The main thing I'm dealing with is just having to eat all the time and bring lots of snacks with me everywhere. I'm sure you all have been there!

How are you 16 weeks already???
For real! My next appt is my 20 week and then I'm HALFWAY there!!
Mia just got over HFM, yuck. Poor baby was quite inconsolable for a couple of days. Now if those canines would pop out already she would be good to go! She is walking more and more and loving going in the pool now. Debating swim lessons next month. I'm all for it, H thinks it's a waste. Discussions are still ongoing.
