So I am still a beginner Yogi, been taking a heated vinyasa class since January but just once a week. I felt like I was making improvements and went from the basics class to a level 1/2 class a few times. Then vacation came... and H traveled for work and then for fun and my routine was fully messed up. So last night I decided to go back, not really realizing it had been 6 weeks since my last class. Yikes! I was beat. It was a class heavy with balance poses too which I totally suck at normally but my muscles were so tired that they were worse than normal.
All that being said, I am already looking forward to class on Saturday!
Every class is different, part of the process is just to challenge and at the same time respect your body. Some days I go and feel like a rocks tar others I struggle through class.
Yoga is HARD! I'm a powerlifter and have gone to a few hot yoga classes to see if the increased mobility would help my lifts. It's funny how I can be more sore from a body weight yoga workout than a heavy lifting session.
