I tried to make it through the day, but she could see I was struggling. She took it upon herself to find another manager, and got me permission to work from home (I'm technically not eligible yet, since I'm not out of the probation period).

That manager told me to take the rest of the day off, work from home tomorrow and Friday, and to touch base with my regular manager on Friday regarding next week.

I'm not a fan of the business I'm contracting for, but the people there are wonderful.
