Quick, what's the lesser of two evils?

I have a 10:30 meeting for Shane today about the services he receives through the school district. It will be me, his therapists, and one or two other people from the district. Shane is in preschool today, Ethan is with me. Today is a gym day and I'd rather not skip it because I just finally got back into a routine. Do I :

1- go to the gym before the meeting and show up looking disheveled (daycare at gym opens at 9, so no time to shower after work out)? Good news, I don't sweat much so I won't stink, but I'll be in gym clothes with blotchy face and messy hair. Or,

2- go to the gym after the meeting, which is Ethan's nap time. He won't sleep and will turn into an inconsolable monster for the rest of the day.

There is no option 3, the rest of my day is filled with errands and appointments. I'm leaning toward option 1, but I'm afraid of getting the side eye from everyone at the meeting.

I went with option 1. He fell asleep in the car on the way home from the meeting (gave him a bottle there) and stayed asleep when I carried him inside. I was also able to get some yard work done and grab a shower before he woke up again, so, yay!

See, if this were me and I was a mom I would have gone with option 3: skip the gym completely!!
