uggh I think I'm having hormonal breakouts. I don't have periods anymore due to my Mirena but I still get once a month breakouts it seems, especially on my chin and jawline. I can't use anything with benzoyl peroxide in it as I am allergic. Any product recs?

I'm assuming your skin is typically "normal," not dry or oily? I really like Bare Escentuals Deep Cleansing Foam. It's around $20 but the tube lasts forever. You really only need a drop ofthe stuff because it foams up so much. I end upwith a new tube every 6 months or so, which makesit fairly MM. You might need a mild exfoliating scrub too. I find I need one every couple days or so.
I'd go see a derm. I tried everything from argan cleansing oil to Proactiv to Dr. Murad to Neutrogena for my hormonal acne, and nothing really seemed to cut it. I was always fine when I was on the pill, but without that, it was a NIGHTMARE.
Once I saw a doctor, they were able to prescribe some products and routines that worked really well, and could tell me what was safe when TTC, etc.
My skin has been largely under control since taking meds to regulate my cycles, and pregnancy helped a lot. Now I just use a mild cleanser/toner from Origins and a good moisturizer. I'll be back to see the doctor, I'm sure, once this kid is here!

Honestly, I'd go to the derm, especially with sensitive skin. It ends up being more MM to get professional advice rather than bounce from product to product looking for what works.
That said, I might try out Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash before going to the dermatologist. It's relatively mild and salicylic acid based, so less irritating than benzoyl peroxide.
yeah I think seeing a derm is a good idea. I saw one a few years back and she wasn't super helpful but she seemed to be more into cosmetic stuff like botox than acne and more medical derm issues.
I was on spironolactone for a long time and that kept my face super clean, but i hate remember to take pills and if you miss a day you get super dizzy
