Yes, I have the Polar FT4 and I really like it. I don't think any of them are 100% accurate, but it's close enough for me. It was always interesting to me to compare it to what the calorie burn on a machine was, if I was using one (like the elliptical or treadmill). When I first started working out, I was actually burning way more calories than the machine said, per my HRM, and as I got fitter, the opposite was true.
I have the same as Nahoku but in all white. I love it. Having that visual has really helped me push harder. Like if I'm thinking about stopping but see that I'm only 75 calories from 500, I keep going.

I had a Go Wear Fit and I loved it. You wear it all the time on your left arm and it bases your calories burned off your age, weight, height and heart rate. I believe it is fairly accurate, but as was sad above it is not 100%. The only downside to this one is you kind of look silly wearing it at work or out and about. But I wear longsleeves a lot anyways so it didn't bother me too much.

For those of you with the Polar, do you only wear it while working out or do you wear it all day? Another downside to the GoWear Fit is that there is a monthly fee for their website.

I have a old polar F4 HR monitor, I love it. I use it all the time and it has been accurate enough to help me lose 75 lbs.I only wear mine when I work out, the strap will rub me raw if i wear it outside of working out. Mine is pink, it was a gift lol.
I also have a BodyMedia Fit and highly recommend it. It can show you calorie burn all day; heart rate monitors can't really do that (you wouldn't believe how many calories you can burn puttering around the house).
If you don't like wearing it on your arm, it also works if you put it on your calf or in your bra on your side over yournrib cage.

Is it still accurate when it's worn on your calf or in your bra? I've never heard of that, but I'm very interested.
I have the Polar F6 and love it. It has a chest strap (which I would definitely get over just the wrist strap), and is very comfortable to wear. Polar was also a great company to work with. After having mine about a year, the chest strap stopped transmitting to the watch. I sent it in and it was fixed for free (under warranty) and shipped back to me within a week. No hassles.

The calf reads pretty much the same as my arm, but I think putting it in my bra causes it to read a little lower. Not a whole bunch, like it reads around 15 calories less for the 30 Day Shred than it does on my arm.
