QUESTION on the anthro column dress!

My husband comes home soon! and I wanted to wear that dress. I planned on wearing those DVF opal wedges with it, but I'm not too sure about keeping them. If I don't find a great pair of wedges before then, is it okay to wear gold or bronze flip flops with that dress? specifically the tkees. Really simple. thoughts?

Definitely! I have the neutral/ivory version and wear gold sandals with it all the time.

Either way, the dress will look great so I wouldn't stress about finding the perfect shoes. If you find something that works, go with it, but sandals will work as a fall back.

I'm wearing the dress to his homecoming, which is when he gets off the bus at the military base. This is also California so generally less dressy and more casual than other parts of the US! lol.

I'm just not sure on the DVF wedges and I may or may not have time to buy something appropriate before then!! we'll see... Any suggestions??!! Links to cute wedges? That I can actually walk in is a bonus! haha!

In that case, I think flats work. If this was dinner out somewhere heels would be more appropriate. I think tkees are perfect.

I have the Bailey column dress in navy/taupe and the ivory/neutral colors. I wear my Sam Edelman Gigi sandals (almond patent).

I am thinking of buying a gold pair of tkees flip flops though!

I have an awesome pair of gold Ivanka Trump wedges that could be good. I'll post a link when I get home. Mav, would those be cute? They are high, easy to walk in, and comfortable. I'd want to be hot and work thr dress for this occasion.

I would think the wedges would look best, but then again - how long have you had them and not worn them?? I give myself a month or else I don't live it and it's going back.

I've had them awhile but I haven't really gone out or done anything yet that I'd wear them to... just because the husband isn't home and I never really had occasion to wear them. BUT I am questioning them so they probably need to go back. I think they are a little loose around the ankle.

The ankle strap does run big, but they are made in a way that more holes could easily be punched. I plan on having that done to mine when I'm near a cobbler again, but I think it could easily be a DIY fix. I like how these are chunky, but still cute. The footbed is really soft too.

Not with me. They can still be found on 6PM.com and there's a video of a model walking in them. We're on the road heading to my parent's.
