Rainy day

What is everybody doing today? I'm going to stay in and stay dry. It's going to be a long day. I wish it would let up so I could run up to our little Itallian grocery store and pick up a prime rib. I want to practice on one before Christmas and its not too often I'm indoors all day to do it. But then I'm afraid the power is going to go out and that would be terrible to ruin a good prime rib.

Trying to clean up my file cabinet and create folders for a larger than I'd like to admit stack that needs to be filed. Yup - I'm exciting.

My husband just called and Shane and I are meeting him for lunch. It's just drizzling now. I hope it stays that way

Yep I think it's passed now. I was kind of looking forward to an excuse for a total lazy day but I think it's clear to get out and burn off some energy.

We went to the Y today (4 days in a row for me!), stopped by the produce stand for some fresh stuff, and now we are home finishing up lunch and watching Elmo DVDs and cuddling. The rain let up here about 11am.

Although, I did get scared and clean out the Harry Potter closet just in case there was a watch.

I got a warning on my phone but it wasn't even raining at the time so I kept my cool, lol.

Good for you amellis! I love the Y, I can't wait to go back! We cancelled our membership when I got pregnant again and I was too lazy to go plus we are refinancing (oh my god it's been like 6 months now) so needed to free up the cash. I'm hoping we will qualify for financial assistance once we are a family of 4 and I'm no longer working but we'll actually have extra money by then so probably not. Either way, I'm going back. I love how good they are with the kiddos. It's worth the extra money that you pay for the Y over Shapes where I used to go.

Fresh veggies from a stand sound delicious. I decided to forgo the prime rib idea and make macaroni salad.

I'm so thankful for the break in weather. Finally able to return a few things to Home Depot that have been hanging out in my car trunk for a few days, and pick up a few things for a project I hope to tackle soon.

I'm so thankful Amelia is taking a good nap for me today. Yesterday was a no go so this time with my feet up is much appreciated.
