I am trying to stay up later than10 pm. H is letting me sleep in tomorrow. We will see if I can. I am really looking forward to hearing her cry, kicking the H and nestling back under the covers!
I am feeling so lucky right now. My mom group/neighbors threw us a going away party and surprised us with an early bday party for DS. I thought that was so sweet and thoughtful of them. They even had a big cake for the party and a smash cake for DS that I can freeze and use on his actual birthday.
I never imagined that leaving Tampa would be so bittersweet, but it is turning out to be that way. I'm trying not to cry at the thought of moving away from this amazing support system with such short notice. Yet, I am teary-eyed. As sappy as it sounds, I hope we can all meet up at least once a year together. I have never been part of a group where all of the wives and husbands got along so well and I think we would have so much fun on vacation. ::sniff sniff::

I have to share my neighborhood excitement... There was a creepy van with a guy taking a nap across the street; I thought maybe he was waiting for a neighbor (and was trying to convince myself this wasn't something shady). Later, I'm looking out the window and see that he is now dressed as a clown, and is rollerblading down the street to a birthday party where a bounce house was set up this afternoon.
And we just got to hear him sing the piñata song (en español) over a crappy sound system for the last 20 minutes. I predict it's going to be a long, noisy evening.

I'm just bumming around the house today, waiting for H to get home from work. I'm telling myself I am working on a meal plan for next week, but all I've gotten accomplished is clicking around this site some more.
I'm watching The Help. I'm having trouble understanding it sometimes due to the Southern accents.
I haven't seen the movie, but the book was difficult to read at first since it was written with the accent. Being Southern, this surprised me. I guess I'm used to hearing it, but reading it very different.

I got rear ended while driving home from taking my dog to the vet this afternoon. We are both fine as is the guy that hit us. I have a seatbelt for my dog but I don't usually put it on him when we go to the vet - we go pretty often because it's also where I work - because the clinic is right down the street from my house. We got hit really hard, so he will be wearing it everytime he gets in the car from now one. I never would have forgiven myself if he had been hurt. I have been very sore all day so I've been taking it easy most of the day. I went to bed a while ago, but now I can't get to sleep. Hopefully pain meds will kick in soon...
