Hello again, I'm working til 11:30 today then I'm having lunch with a friend. I have this afternoon off so I plan to nap, do laundry, buy some groceries and go for a run. DH is still at the army, so I'm going to find a recipe I know he wouldn't like but I would and make it for tonight.
QOTD: In Switzerland, mainly H & M. I try to look at other stores but I usually find that they are either too expensive or they're too teenager-sh. I also like the big Macy's like store here, Manor.
In the US, I shop a lot at Forever 21 (but I was told I'm too old for this?!), American Eagle (I still love their jeans but I'm not such much a fan of their shirts) and Old Navy (though the last couple times in the US, I haven't been impressed by Old Navy).

Nothing much exciting going on. We haven't been paid yet for this month, (if you're counting, that would be almost 2 weeks late...) so everyone in the office is really depressed and pissed. Rightfully so...ANYWAY, needless to say this week has been dragging. Nothing too exciting going on this evening probably, last night we ended up going to dinner with some friends and hanging out watching the soccer match.
QOTD: 90% of my shopping is done in the US, here I shop mainly at Gap and H&M, I sometimes venture into F21 but venture out just as quickly. At home, I usually shop at NY&Co, Old Navy, Gap, Express and for work stuff, Limited and LOFT...does Target count?

Good afternoon! It's a pretty good day around here. I woke to a package from home -- including my new polartec blankets (I got them on sale for $15!!!), some Brach's Christmas nougats (yes I know it's nearly 6 months late), a Mardi Gras guide (also late), my latest order from Amazon, and Marc Cohn's latest album (I am so tempted to play it now, but I promised DH I'd wait for him). I'm all over excited!!!
QOTD: I tend to shop through US catalogues. I know my sizes and I have them items shipped to my parents (unless the company ships internationally). I haven't found anything I'd what they are asking here other than socks and slippers.
Hello ladies! nothing special going on here. I hope the weather will be decent enough to go for a run today as through trial and error (and pain) I did discover that of all your suggestions, running in a better temperature waa the only thing that really had a BIG impact.
QOTD: the US, nicer clothes from Nordstrom's Rack, Macy's, sometimes Foley's. Casual from Target and Nordstrom's Rack (and I've been known to find well - fitting jeans, yoga pants and shirts and such at Walmart). Other than that I shop at little boutiques wherever I am and they have cute things and I often find cute summer dresses at Upim in Italy (their version of Target I guess).
Morning! Last night I got a lot of sleep so that's very nice. Today I am going into Frankfurt to meet up with some other mommies and chat over coffee and tea. I'm excited to get out of the house.
QOTD: All my maternity clothes came from C&A and H&M. My regular clothes are mostly H&M as well. In the US I usually pick clothes up from Old Navy, TJ Maxx, and places like that. I shop fairly cheap I think.
I haven't really mentioned anything about it in some time, but Bean is still really behind language-wise and the ball is finally rolling to get her a proper evaluation and some formal help. I submitted some paperwork to get a specialist to come and see her at preschool, though I am expecting we will be referred to a psychologist afterwards. I'm so glad they are taking it seriously and fingers crossed it doesn't take terribly long to get a diagnosis.
QOTD: Truthfully, I hardly ever shop. MIL and SIL love to buy me clothes on all the gift-giving holidays, and they do a good job of it. When I'm in the States, Mom loves to shop with me, so I go wherever she takes me. I don't have a favorite store, really. I just don't enjoy doing it. Sometimes I'll go get some basic Ts and stuff at H&M.
Not much going on today. I need to make an appointment with a pneumologist here, my asthma has been really bad recently. I also need to pick up dry cleaning and go to the vet to talk about what we need to do to move our dog to Amsterdam.
QOTD: I buy all my clothes in the US as plus sized stores aren't common here. I ususally shop at Macy's, Lane Bryant and Kohl's. I look at TJ Maxx and the like, but I hardly ever find things.
I don't have anything planned for today. The sun is out now, but it's supposed to rain most of the day. DH is also away for the army so I think LOs and I will stay home today and watch movies/clean/play inside.
QOTD: I rarely shop for myself. But I've gotten some things at H&M here and a couple of random places that I don't remember.
I'm trying to get past being beyond pissed at DH this morning for a lot of my own work-related crap. I am trying to take deep breaths and realize that it is not his fault I didn't anticipate being this busy work-wise when we moved to France and that now I am in a panic about how to get everything done before DD finishes school for the summer this month. But it would really, really help if he didn't suddenly have his own work madness at the same time. Taking DD to school and starting my own work an hour later than planned is NOT making me happy today.
QOTD: Where I like to shop and where I do shop are not necessarily the same thing. At home, I swoon over Anthropologie, but rarely buy anything there. I have a few good, long-lasting pieces from Patagonia (I love their basics and summer dresses), but try to only get a couple things a year there. My jeans mainly come from the Gap, other random tops and summery dresses come from Old Navy and H & M.
I finally clambered out of bed today after almost 2 full days in it with migraines. I am so happy to be able to get up again but feel overwhelmed by all the stuff I now have to catch up on. Tonight the NL is playing Germany and I am excited to watch that with DH.
QOTD: I have not really shopped for clothes in a while. I like H&M and WE a lot here and in the U.S. The Gap, Banana and Macy's. I actually also love Anthropologie but never feel the prices are good for what it actually is. Maybe I am weird.
Good Morning! I am sleepy this morning and I should get moving because I have to work later today.
QOTD: I love to go shopping in the States but here I go to El Corte Ingles, Cortefiel or Benetton.
Have you checked out Prenatal for maternity clothes? I think they have a mini-boutique in the Corte Ingles, in addition to stand alone stores. I remember liking their stuff, but have no idea if it's still as cute as it was.
DH has off today. Around lunch time we are heading to the German-American center to watch the Euro Cup match.
My friend is coming to visit today too. But now can't make it till dinner time due to a meeting. Luckily I have nothing planned for Thursday so we can spend some time together be free she leaves to go back to Korea on Friday. I've know her for 5 years almost.
QOTD: I just bought two dresses from H&M. You can't beat the price and fashion. Otherwise I shop at Target, Gap and Old Navy. I'm starting to live Macy's and Boston Store. Macy's even more so now that I can check out the giant one in State Street.
In Switzerland. The few clothes I bought were from H&M. The prices were usually not to outrageous there. And it was familiar. I liked looking in the windows at Mango and Zara... But stayed away because of $$$. Manor the Department store had some nice stuff but I had sticker shock.

I am still in denial that I might need maternity clothes soon or perhaps even yesterday. The bloat is doing better today but yesterday I was up 2 kilos and now I am back down to my pre-pregnancy weight.
If I can hold off until July for the sales, then I will pick up some stuff then. But I might have to pick up some pants this weekend.
Should be a busy day at work for me - lots to do and then I have a maternity workshop at work in the afternoon. Not quite sure what they plan on talking about, but hopefully it's somewhat interesting. Also hoping to make it to the gym, since I've been so lax in that area and I can feel it.
QOTD: It feels like it's been ages since I've bought clothes, especially here. I don't think I have one go-to place in general. I like Express and the Limited in the US.

It's Wednesday, and strangely enough, I have to buy clothing!
QOTD: Depends on what it is. For regular clothes: Bershka, sometimes Mango or Zara. I love Anthropologie, but it's pricey. I also like Desigual, but same problem. Professional clothes like today: Macys since it combines a lot of brands in one place and I like to do bulk professional buying. For jeans, nobody sells them the right size for my legs except Hilfigger or Gap (tall) so those are always in the US. I guess it's because I am absurdly picky about my wardrobe--I have to be comfortable but also somewhat in style since I work with a lot of artists and administrators of artists, so I always end up spending more on wardrobe than I would otherwise.

Ooo, I forgot about Desigual. I bought some stuff from there when I was in Spain, rationalizing in my head that it was cheaper than it would have been in France or the U.S. I never actually cross-checked when I returned to Paris because I would lose my justification if I found out the prices were exactly the same.
I know for certain, though, that Mango, Zara and Camper (shoes) are all cheaper in Spain. I am waiting for our trip to the Basque country next month to go a little crazy at those stores.

Are you headed to Bilbao? If so you might want to check out the outlets: www.park-avenue.es/ They're in Barakaldo, just down the road from Bilbao. If you need public transport info, let me know!
