Ugh, we have ants

The other day MH spilled a bunch of rice, but apparently didn't clean it all up.  J found ants crawling around the bottom of the pantry floor. So, I pulled everything off the floor, swept up the rice, and bleached the bottom of the pantry. 

I hate ants. The really creep me out and make my skin crawl. I much rather find a spider any day. Yuck.

I hate them too. Once you have them they're hard to get rid of.

And DS looooooves them. So I have to sweep them up when he's not looking or else he just wants to watch them and gets pissed at me for moving them.

We had ants in my old apt. They drove me nuts. Now we just have spiders. Creepier but not as many.

Ants cause house centipedes. They love to dine on ants. Ortho makes a good outdoor spray. H sprays the perimeter if the house. So far we haven't had one in the house since Easter.

We used to do this at our old house. We haven't had a problem since we built this house 4 years ago, but I'm going to Lowes as soon as J gets done with school today. I'm going to get some outside spray and a few indoor traps for the bottom of the pantry and hall closet. I found some more there when I was cleaning the floor. Hopefully I get get them under control before they become a big problem.
