I've been lurking for a bit but have decided to start posting now as we just started TTC.
I had my mirena IUD removed today. I've never been pregnant before and had it for about 3 years. I was wondering how long after having your IUD removed did it take to get pregnant?
I TTA the first cycle after removing the IUD but for my own scheduling reasons only--I didn't want to be PG for our upcoming vacation. I got pregnant the first cycle TTC after the IUD was removed. I had the Paragard.

Mine had embedded so we were told to TTA for two cycles and then we could go from there. I got pregnant three months after that (cycle #5), miscarried, then got pregnant again the cycle immediately following that with DS.
This exactly for me too! With all 3 pregnancies, I conceived the 2nd cycle trying.
I will say that after I got my 2nd IUD removed, it took a little longer for my cycle to regulate (44 days vs. the 28 it was the first time), but really NBD in the grand scheme of things.

My doctor said it could happen immediately.
I got pregnant about two months after I had it removed. We were actually trying not to get pregnant (we wanted to wait a couple more months), but we weren't very serious about it (pull and pray/half heartedly tracking my fertile times).

My doctor told me I could get pregnant immediately after having my Mirena out, and I did. I spotted for a couple of days after the IUD removal and conceived DS two weeks later.
