H and A are safe. guys I am over storms. It has been two years since we were hit by the tornado. Our front tree fell again. Thank goodness it landed in the yard and road. I have a ball in my stomach.

Looks like it may have been another small tornado. the tree and a few shingles seems to be the only damage. The neighbors have roof and siding damage. H said A freaked the eff out. The kid already hates storms.
Last time it was several trees around us and the one on our cars. I'm just thankful we have no real damage this time. Being away is giving me anxiety.
So glad everyone is OK. I effing hate storms. The only thing that got me through them as a kid was counting the time between lightening and thunder as a distraction
Tornado's have always been my biggest fear. When H was house hunting (knowing we would most likely get engaged/married) I had a requirement of a house with a basement (even if it was only the tiniest thing). I needed somewhere to go.
Oddly though storms don't bug me even though I had one hit when I was probably 13 or 14 and it crashed into my bedroom while I was in there. I had just gotten out of bed to leave my room or it would have gotten me. It feel in front of my door and I would have been trapped. My parent's have a old house (1900) and there was a connecting space between my room and my parents so I could get out luckily.
