Dutch ladies:moving a pet

We will be bringing our dog to AMS with us.

When we moved from the States we used a pet relocation service (petrelocation.com) at the tune of $3500, which was door to door service. To be honest it was nice to have everything taken care of and not have to worry about our dog being denied at customs.

Not sure if we should do it again as this move isn't as big...only a 2 hour flight versus Chicago to Barcleona.

If you used a company...who did you use?

Nope, didn't use a company. Stuffed the kitty under the seat in front of us on a flight and flew her over the ocean. Getting her through customs was a joke...the guy didn't look at the cat or her paperwork.

This! My cat cost me $50 to get from the US to Luxembourg (not taking vet bills into account).

For the short flight I'd just fly him. There are no customs etc, he just has to get on and off the flight. How big is he?
