My autocorrect changed that to ransoms and I almost left it hah.
How's everything going? What's up in your life? Your day?
This is kinda a aw post as well, because we're moving really soon! I'm actually taking the girls to my parents for 3 weeks over the actual move, which means I have to get their and my stuff packed up by 2 weeks and next week were going down to get me registered in school and check out the progress on the house ( last we saw it physically it was an empty lot!) So yeah. A lot happening, and I'm just really excited for all of it!!

It's almost noon and I have done the bare minimum at work. I need to "get on it" but more important things like "blog surfing" and "chit chatting with a former coworker who stopped by with a present for me" came up.

Haha. This is me today too. We're getting out early (3:00ish insted of 5:00) and I'm struggling to find something to do until 3:00.
The more I look at houses for sale in my area, the more I like my house. Everything that's for sale in our "price range" sucks. We're not looking to move or anything, I'm simply curious to see what's out there. I have my answer: nothing.

The issue is this: I have an auto and a home app to write and 10 phone calls to make to people who can't pay. And this needs to be done by 5 p.m. because I will not be here tomorrow (my last day off as I go back full-time next week filling in at another office). I just don't WANT to do it.

thewop, I'm feeling depressed about the options in our price range. We HAVE to get a bigger house and the district we're looking at, they get snapped up fast. The overpriced, "needs a lot of work to not look like it was actually built in 1982 and NOT 1999" crap is what's left over. (Or the "was built in 1972 and not updated since then" would be the other option.)

I know what you mean. If we were to move, I'd want a finished house. I don't want to completely renovate again. Too much work! Haha. I'm ok with paint and easy cosmetic changes, but I don't want to be ripping out floors, and gutting bathrooms. Too bad all those types of houses for what I want are way more than I'd be willing to spend. None of it really matters though because unless the market crazy comes back, we'll be in our house forever which is ok.

There's one random turtle in the water, the rest are on alligators! Turtle Bob forgot his alligator.
And I'm all for painting. Hell, I'm for small cosmetic changes (hey, that light is fug, let's swap it.) but the last thing I want to do is rip out flooring and counters (not because they're ugly alone, but because there is physical damage to it) while 8 months pregnant and NEEDING TO MOVE IN RIGHT AWAY because kid has to start school and I'm about to pop another out.
Another random: Whoever told me that pregnancy sex was GREAT the second time around lied. LIED. I feel really ripped off.
I'm mad that instead of being able to finish my office, I need to wait and see what the deal is with our roof.
I'm glad I'm not working on Friday and fully plan to have a "me" day, shopping, eyebrow threading, etc. Then Saturday I'm getting my hair cut so I will look fabulous in front of BIL and SIL with freshly done hair.

H told me this morning that as of today he's lost 70 pounds since January (!!). I'm no slouch when it comes to weight loss, but I'm irrationally jealous. If I had lost 70 pounds already, I'd be DONE. **sigh** Stoopit men and their easy weight loss.
We are flying out for vacation in under 2 days and I haven't done bupkus to get ready. no packing, no list, nothing. Only thing I've done is make reservations for Dot at the boarding place. I know I'm going to regret this at the last minute tomorrow.
I'm trying to figure out how to exercise while we're on "vacation" and I can't come up with a thing I actually want to do/pay for.

My H claims our scale is broken because there is "no way" he weighs 190. I'm inclined to agree that it's off, but not that off. I was 135 at my last appointment, I weighed in at 138 on our scale last night.
SOMEONE has been indulging in too many chocolate milk shakes with me.
Haha yeah, what emo said. It cracks me up for some reason
So I got on the scale yesterday and was all disappointed because even though I've been going to the gym I havent lost any, hen I step off and notice its not calibrated, so I fix it and try again, and I'm down 5 lbs yay me! My pants still don't fit though, I'm like, reshaping or something. It's almost like my hips have widened again like they did when I was pregnant, but I'm not, so I'm trying to figure out what I need to work on.
well I knew bob forgot his alligator but I thought there was more to the joke...I kept looking at the logs wondering if they had something to do with it or if the joke was sexual and I just wasn't getting it. hmm. Guess I just don't find it funny
I'm on the way back from my trade show. I got a nice stack of leads to send info to tomorrow, a huge bag of loot, pics of my hotel room to post and I'm exhausted.
My mom has been at my house all week making new curtains, recovering a chair I got for free ( it's super comfy too ) and making covers for the cushions on my porch chairs. All her idea I love it.
I am beyond pissed off at BRU, they no longer carry BRAT organic drink. It was they only place that carried it in my city. DS has a stomach virus and I NEED it for him. I may have slightly over reacted to the manager when she told me they no longer carry it. Why the eff did they get rid of the only thing that actually works for stomach bugs!!!11!!
I so wanted to be lazy today, but it's been far from a lazy day. Woke up at 6, coached swim practice at 7, ran a few miles, then came home to deep clean the kitchen, attempt to vacuum the house, and mopped the entry. I finally just plopped my tired ass down on the couch, and just heard the garage door open, which means DH is home and I'll have to start cooking dinner soon. Then we're going to Home Depot to look at carpet because ours is just so nasty that I can't take it anymore, and we've got to start figuring out how much this carpet situation is going to cost us.

I've never heard of the brat drink. I've always done chicken broth until I can keep it down and then the brat diet.
I know I am late to the party, but here is my random.
It was the last day of school and I cried once. It makes me worry about what the summer has in store for me. I am a temporary employee and, at this stage, it looks like there will not be a job for me next year. I cried because I have student who is terrified to go to high school next year and I just want to be able to go with her and make her life go smoothly. And a part of me cried because I am not sure that, if she does come to visit and update the staff on her life next year, that I will get to be around to hear about it.
Sorry for taking so long to get back to this. BRAT organics is the most amazing product, it is basically the BRAT diet in a drink. My kids get horrible diarrhea from antibiotics. Someone on the Bump told me about it and it cleared them up in less than 24 hours. Their website says Whole Foods carries it, which they do, but not in the midwest. I can only get it online. When my kid has a stomach bog or on an antibiotic I don't have 3 days to wait for shipping, nor 3x the price for next day air.
