And I wish I would have gotten the photos of the other monkeys, but I wasted all my battery life on these;
We went to Lake Tobais and did the safari tour. It's so cheap but you get to feed the animals and can pet them. My inner child was so delighted.
Then we went to the petting zoo and saw more monkeys/lots of goats/a ton of guinea pigs, saw some parrots, alligators, snakes, turtles, etc. The lions were uber lazy and weren't coming down off their rock, so I didn't get photos.
We took DD1 there three years ago. She loved it. Was the safari ride worth it? I was PG with Dd2 so we didn't ride it. We are thinking of maybe going again soon.

I feel, as someone without kids, it was worth it. You get to see all the big animals and they come up to get fed/let you pet them. I can honestly say I don't think I'll ever get to pet a long horn again on my own. So that's cool. The kids who were on the ride, LOVED it. It's all they could talk about while riding and they loved that they could pet and feed the animals. So I think your kids would like it. It was about an hour long and they'd stop at each animal.
For the two of us, the whole park was $24. I feel that's a super reasonable.
