I measured myself and I am a 26 C. This size does not exist. I have been wearing 32 A's cuz that's what I can get but they do not fit. They are way too big in the cup.
Yeah, unfortunately the smallest band size most companies make is 28, so you could try some 28B's to see if the fit is closer.

I can't watch the video right now, but I'm very skeptical about this whole thing. If everyone who thought they were As and Bs are measuring as a D or higher, that just means, to me, that the bra industry has succumbed to the "vanity sizing" disease. I got measured fairly recently at VS and they tried to tell me I'm a D (I've been a 34B for the last decade). They brought me this bra that was 99.9% padding and sized as a D. Sure... I'm a D if throw the equivalent of a rolled-up sock in there. I asked them to bring me one without padding, and sure enough my boobs were a drop in the bucket of a real size D bra. It's just silly. I like my size Bs. I feel no need to be a D. Or to strap foam attachments to my chest to look like a D.
There is a reason they say that something like 85%, or something like that, of the female population is wearing the wrong size bra.

I would not trust VS for a fitting. Ever.
Do you have a Nordstrom near you? They are fantastic. Or you can try a small, old school lingerie store.
And I would not get hung up on the cup size since it is kind of fluid depending on the band size. A 32 D is not the same as a 36D. Getting the right band size makes a huge difference. I am convinced my sister should be a 30 or 32, at most.
I need to try this when I get home. I know my bras aren't the right size, but I'm trying to lose weight, so I figured I'd wait and see if it changes. However, all this talk of bras making your boobs look amazing..
Yeah VS measured me at a 36DD and I laughed at her. The only reason I was letting her measure me was because she didn't believe that I wouldn't fit in any of their bras. She brought me a 36DD and I put it on and the look on her face when it didn't fit was priceless. She was sure it would. I was a 36F at the time.

I really need to go to bed, but I am very curious to try fitting myself tomorrow. I have a feeling I may be surprised with my result based on her description of what an ill-fitting bra looks like.
Guys, this is mind blowing. (sorry to bump). I have always considered myself a 32B. I am NOT that. I didn't believe that I could be a D cup. Because I've always considered my boobs "small". But I tried on some D's and whadda know? I DO fit better in a D!! What now? Its like everything I've ever known is wrong. I thought I had fat on the side, its boob! I sent pictures to my sister and she agreed with my new size. Its just craziness right now. I would have never thought I "looked" like a D. Based on this post, I guess I'd now have to say D is not a huge size, but a medium one! lol.
I had like an existential crisis shopping today. It is definitely a new frame of mind for me.
Thanks to the helpful post, and the helpful people in here.
So, does any of this carry over to swimsuit aka bikini shopping? Because I can't find one of those that flatter the ole juice bags for the life of me. Does anyone even sell swimsuits in "bra" sizes?

I measured and ordered a 30H today because of this post. I have worn a 36DD for like 2 years. I absolutely cannot wait for it to come in. Thank you, for the video in the op & for all the helpful comments! My titties owe you one.
Ok, question- what if you just kinda have long boobs? When I measure mine the way she says to- they aren't full, they're just long and skinny. (Soooo embarassing). There is a huge difference between my band size and cup size.
I'm checking in with this issue - I followed her instructions a couple weeks ago and measured at a 38 DDDD... but that just scared me so I ordered 38 DDD from Nordstrom and that fit perfectly (I had been wearing a 40D). So maybe go down a cup size from this method's result, because I feel like that helps shape mine into a more typical shape.
I am SO glad I watched that video. Spent 2 hrs at Nordstrom and the Rack and I'm blown away. I've always worn a 34B. They fit me in a 32DD and it is amazing what a difference! I really do look skinnier and all the fat that I had on the side an back is gone! You really do have to do the scoop and swoop and put it all on the cups. It is so much more flattering! I got a beautiful bra on sale at Nordtroms ($40) and then found 2 more at the rack for $20 and $30. That really isn't that bad a price! I just tried one on with a t shirt and I look SO much better. This may also solve the straps falling down problem. I've hated my bras for years, this is so awesome!
I feel like I want to send this video to all my girlfriends, but I'm afraid they will think I'm weird.
PS. The women at Nordstrom really were amazing. They fit me and were so helpful, even found me the bras on sale since I was worried about price! I highly recommend going there if you are unsure.
It said I was a 30 F. There is no fucking way, as a 32 or 34 is TIGHT AS FUCK around my body. I wear a 36 C. I am not a 30 F. I don't believe what she said, at least not for my body.

Ok - I bought a couple 34F's in a variety of brands & styles - and they were comically big! I reordered in a 34E (aka a DD) so we'll see how those fit.

"It" being the measuring tape? Because... it can't lie. If you measured 30" then your circumference is 30". Does that mean that EVERY BRA EVER is going to fit you in a 30 size band? No. Because like I said 100 times, there is no universal sizing when it comes to bras. They're all over the place doing their own thing.
And like I said another 100 times, this might not be exact for everyone just due to personal tissue/fat placement, ratio of breast tissue to back width etc.
Bra update: my new 32DD bra fits great and looks awesome, but I've worn it for 2 days and it kind of hurts! It is pretty tight and was hurting my rib cage and shoulders by halfway through the day. I loosened the straps and it didn't help. I went back to the Rack and tried on some more sizes. The 34D was comfy at the band, but the cups weren't right. I was getting quad boob. The 34DD cups were way too big.
fuckstick: do I just need to try more brands? Or will the bra stretch out with more wear? I love this size so much, but it is not comfy yet. I have another one coming from Nordstrom I ordered online, I hope that fits better.
