I have tried many different Wilton cupcake liners (foil, paper) and every time I make cupcakes, the liners get all greasy. It happens with various recipes also. Any idea why that could be or how to stop it? Could it be my cupcake pans (they are dark KA ones)? I am dying for some WS Goldtouch ones (my WS GT cookie sheets and loaf pan are incredible! My baking has never turned out better) and hoping this could be my excuse to get them.

I think it just happens with paper liners. If you want to avoid it, I think foil liners would be the only way or just cover the original liner with a second liner for better presentation.

ditto - cupcakes are oily, so paper liner = oily liner.
