Lately, I've been using the freebie I got from Nestle.
I felt better when my doctor said she uses the same bag. It's a one-shoulder backpack - small, but really functional. I have 2 other larger bags I got tired of carrying.
MBMJ. We'll see how it works after the babe arives...
My friend has this and uses it for her 3.5m and 2.5yr olds. It looks like she can carry the kitchen sink in there, but it's squishy enough that she easily could fit it into the carry basket of her stroller - I was impressed!
my mom bought me a Coach diaper bag for my birthday when DD was about 8 months old. Don't remember what we used before that. Now that she's older (2+), I use a backpack.

I have had and use many of them - since i don't buy purses anymore, I get new diaper bags about 3x's a year.
the one i'm using now is a Mia Bossi I got from Zulily that i LOVE. I have had Vera Bradley (it annoyed me b/c i'd over stuff it and one strap would always fall off when i was carrying my son).
i have had a cheap one frmo walmart that i loved (a skip-hop knockoff)... i have the skip hop duo delux that is awesome and big- tons of pockets, etc.
another favorite is from www.pinningtonbags.com - amazing bags... I was lucky to get mine at a sample sale so didn't have to spend that much on it.
I have a JuJuBee that i like that is smaller.
i thought i'd want one with 2 straps early on b/c that's the kind of purse I like - but i found i hated diaper bags to haev 2 straps b/c i always had a ton of stuff in them, and it always pushed one strap off- so i started going with messenger style, or a 2-strap bag that has a big single strap option, too (like the duo delux).
I use a JuJuBe BeAll and a Packabe. The BeAll is messenger style, the Packabe is convertible. I love the JuJuBe bags - they hold a ton, easily wipe down and are comfy to wear. I want the BeHave in Steel, but will have to wait a bit before buying it.

i don't know how i forgot to mention my petunia picklebottom bags -- i got a weekender by mistake (sent to me when i ordered another bag from a store) and fell in love with it - kept it. It's HUGE - but awesome when you have 3 kids and tons of shit. I use it as a carry-on when i travel (with or without kids), too.
I also have a Petunia clutch in the cake collection that i adore- i actually have never used it as a diaper bag - but use it as a little purse when i go out to dinner, etc. It's meant to carry like 2 diapers and small wipes- but since I had 3 kids so fast, that never happens.
I'm a big fan of Ju-Ju-Be bags, too. Cute, durable, machine-washable, organized, high-quality. (And not just 'cuz they were a client of mine for a while. I was a huge fan before that.)

I use this bag that I bought at REI. I like it because the strap is soft, so I can wear it while baby wearing without hurting my neck. We travel fairly light, but I have been able to fit what I need for a newborn and a toddler in it.

We have a black Skip Hop Duo...great for either me or MH to carry since it doesn't really look like a baby bag (except, of course, when we have baby toys hanging out the top )
I just carried a regular messenger bag that had lots of good interior pockets. I also had a smaller one from carters that I carried when I didn't need to bring much with me. I do not get the whole expensive diaper bag thing though so take that for what its worth.

I have Kate Spade Stewie. I love it but it doesnt have room for her mini cooler with her bottles. But since her mini cooler is cute, I dont mind carrying it separate. I also use the backpack that was free from Nestle that uncanny has. And if I take her out in the carrier, I use a backpack.
