approx 10 lbs at 21.5 weeks according to my own scale at home. My OB doesn't weigh me, he says that weight gain doesn't say a thing about size and health of baby and momma. I guess looking at the discrepancies on here, he has a very very good point there...
My doc feels the same way, they weigh at the office, but she won't disclose the # because she doesn't want you to obsess over it. Basically, as long as you're eating healthy and drinking a bajillion gallons of water, she doesn't care.
I'm 20 weeks and I've lost about 20 lbs. A lot of different factors have gone into why I've lost weight, including leveling my thyroid levels with medication, I had strep throat and then a cracked rib weeks 4-8 of my pregnancy, significant nausea and food aversions until week 14, eating healthier foods, and my stomach has shrunk/gotten squished so I don't eat as much at one time as I used to. I'm overweight to begin with, so my doctors are actually just fine with this and only want me to gain 15-20 lbs total, so hopefully I should end up weighing less after the baby's born than my pre-pregnancy weight.

14 weeks, and I'm down about 7 pounds. I lost 10 during the first 2 months of my pregnancy due to horrible morning sickness. My doctor hasn't said anything yet, but I suspect unless I start gaining soon he will.

You mean, like what I am doing right now? LOL I really need to stop thinking about it.

Up to about 16 weeks, I lost about 15 pounds from MS. I'm finally gaining now- so far 10 pounds, so I guess technically I'm still -5. It's probably just because I'm been able to eat normally and then some finally, and baby is going through major growth spurts now.

I am worried about how much weight I will gain. Right now I have food aversions and some ms and carbs are what sound good to me. Sweets actually kind of gross me out right now, so that's good. lol
Ugh. Weighed myself this morning at 28 weeks and I gained about 20 pounds so far. It doesn't help that I have a sweet tooth and my husband's is worse than mine. Such a bad influence! Luckily, I still exercise.

It's confusing...I thought I was at 145 when I got ku but they are using my weight from my annual in January (right after the holiday binge) of 153, whatever. So at my last weigh in at 11wks I was up 2 lbs, or 10... I feel soft and fat since all I like to eat are carbs and I haven't worked out since 5 weeks. I'm so looking forward to the nausea and fatigue to start lifting!!
If it makes you feel better, I was just beginning to go back to "must lose weight" mode to lose the 20 pounds I gained from stress-eating since last September. I started working out for a week at the end of May, right before the holiday. Then at the end of the week, I got the BFP. Seemed like that would explain when the scale hadn't nudged even a little lower even though I had stopped stress eating a few weeks prior. Everything I read said "don't try to lose weight during pregnancy" so blah. That means I'm starting this process already up 20 lbs from where I should've been. I haven't stepped on a scale in 4 weeks now. I'm just waiting til Monday for my first doctor's appointment where they will obviously weigh me and I will have to face the number and her advice at that time.
The silver lining is that our new place will have a 24 hour gym in the other building so I will be visiting that hard core at all hours of the day once it's time to lose weight again.
6lbs, i'm 21 weeks. 5 of the 6 were RIGHT AWAY, the very first month and i was FREAKING OUT doing math and like "omg, 5 x 10 means i'll hit 50 lbs IF i don't accelerate at the end and everyone knows you accelerate at the end!" so, i feel you mel. the fact that, like the last time, i'm apparently gaining in fits and starts has been a relief.
i started out about 10 lbs higher than i was when i got pregnant with my first (and than is my ideal weight). so i hope that this time i gain less than i did last time (last time it was 28 lbs). but that's not something i'm going to stress over, it's just a pure math thing in my head since i'd like to get back to that 10 lbs lower than i was when i got pregnant number.
I lost 3lbs when I first found out, and I've gained 2.8 back so far... but if my appetite lately is anything to go by, that will be changing very soon. I'm 15 weeks. Eta: I also had some extra weight to begin with and am only "supposed" to gain 15-20, so we'll see how this goes by the end.
