Ross and I are going to Naples next weekend for his 35th birthday (he doesn't know this yet). Does anyone have any local Naples restaurant ideas? I've never been and I don't think he has either. He likes local places.
My parents live there how much money do you want to spend? We love Lurcat on 5th Avenue and Campiello's on 3rd Street, but there are a ton of places to choose from on both those streets.
ETA Handsome Harry's and Trulock's (amazing seafood) are also great. If you want to stay away from the main areas, Waterside is a great outdoor mall and they have some good restaurants, although mostly chains. Venetian Village has M Waterfront Grill where you have a lovely view. Riverwalk Restaurant at Tin City is pretty good. Cocktails at the Ritz watching the sunset on the beach are awesome
Give me what you've got Aly. Q isn't coming, so I'm open to whatever.
I second Truluck's in Naples. Also, on Marco, Stilts is a casual beachfront spot - it's elevated above the beach and the sunsets are amazing! Avoid DaVinci's - the service is terrible, and the food isn't good enough to make up for it. Merek's is really good, too - there's a casual bar side and a more formal dining area. Sorry to butt in - I lurk on this board, but don't post much. Have fun!
