It's an HR generalist position with a nonprofit health care company I interviewed with in early May. So it's been a loooong time coming. The pay is about where I expected it to be, I'd start July 1st, good benefits, lots of opportunities for advancement. This is the job that called my references about two weeks ago.
I'm not going to lie - I'm underqualified for this job. But I know I can do it. I've been dying to stretch my wings out and get shit done in my professional life.
I'm going to see if I can negotiate my salary slightly, and even if they won't budge I plan on accepting it tomorrow.
I just spoke with a former VP who worked there for about 15 years, and he couldn't give enough praise to the organization. He said I'll work hard, but that particular subset of the company (the division I'd work in) will have some majorly awesome growth in the next 3-5 years and it's a very solid and good company to work for. All good stuff. :-D
