I am so fucking excited about this, it's ridiculous.
My mom used to watch Dallas when I was little, and I'd always sneak out of bed to watch with her from the doorway. Then anytime I saw someone kiss slightly passionately (like not my mom kissing me), I would call it a Dallas kiss.
I  DALLAS! I really hope it sticks around for awhile.
It's a continuation of the original. It's basically 20 years in the future from the last episode. JR/Bobby are the old folks now and their kids are in their mid-late 20s.

Oh wow. I didn't realize that Larry Hagman was still alive.

I did not realize that. I thought it was a complete remake.
I may have to record a re-airing.
I remember it being on and sneaking peaks of it, too, but I don't actually remember any specifics.
It was so awesome. I really like Elena. And obviously I want her to be with Christopher. That chick he married is shady, shady. I wish Pam was back. I hope we get to see some Cliff Barnes.
AND JR! OMG, JR! John Ross is a poor substitute. JR. THE END.

JR!!!!! nothing more to say!!
I am interested in who really sent the email to Elena. I don't miss Pam, I love Ann Seeing Ray and Lucy was so cool.
I am in love with Christopher and still love me some Bobby but cripes he looks OLD
Yeah, Bobby is totally old looking. I like Ann and I like her with Bobby. I just want some Pam drama.
I SO want to know about the email. I'm wondering if the new wife had something to do with it, b/c she and her brother are clearly con artists. And then they set up her meeting Christopher? IDK.
I know! I wish Miss Ellie and Jock were still around. I loved them.
Whatever happened to Jock's huge ass portrait that hung in the living room? Didn't someone take it down and replace it with their own or something (JR maybe)

I can still see that portrait in my head.
Oh my God, I was emailing the same thing to someone last night. I want that portrait hanging! It's weird to see the house remodel, too. The kitchen used to be bad, dark wood. And where's Theraaaayza, the housekeeper??? FYI, there are some of the old episodes on Demand.
Oh it was SOOOO good. I loved all the plot twists and schemes!
I wondered if JR saying "I don't email" was a way of distracting the audience from the possibility that HE sent the email. Despite the way he sat there motionless at the beginning, he'd obviously been mentally fine for a while.
LOVED the chemistry JR still had with Sue Ellen. I loved him using the walker as a prop to make Bobby think he was weak and frail, and then him tossing it aside to go see Sue Ellen.
I thought the actor playing John Ross OWNED it. He was awesome. I loved every complicated thing about him. The only time I found Jesse Metcalfe tolerable as Christopher was in the scene with Elena before the wedding. I don't like the actress playing Christopher's new wife Rebekah. She's creepy and the scar between her eyes is distracting.
