Just booked Punta Cana trip!

I'm sooooo excited! We are doing five days at the Dreams resort.

We've never done an all inclusive because we like small boutique hotels and getting out to explore and try local restaurants, and also doing lots of sightseeing. Well, now that we have a kid and this is our first child free vacation (he's 2 and staying with my parents), we are actually really looking forward to just laying on the beach, reading, eating and drinking for five days. I really hope the food and drinks are good.

Has anyone been to the Dreams in Punta Cana? What did you think? Any tips?

I haven't been there but it's on my list. Have fun!! "Just" laying on the beach, drinking and eating , etc. always sounds amazing particularly after having kids!

Which Dreams in Punta Cana? I've been to Dreams Palm Beach in P.C.

The weather was great, the beach was really nice, food was good but I didn't like it as much as the Secrets resort in the Riviera Maya. We weren't able to do any excursions because I paid a trip to the international hospital that left me taking it easy the rest of the trip but there were lots of things to choose from at our resort.
