I'm surprised a Catholic school is ok with it, considering all that Snooki has done pre-book and post-book. Maybe they tried to toss in a couple "fun" books amidst "Animal Farm", "Johnny Tremaine", "Lord of the Flies".

What? I like Snooki but her book won't be kid appropriate. It's a fiction story about everything that happens on Jersey Shore basically. There is a lot of sex and partying.

Surely there is a middle ground between Lord of the Flies and THIS.

Oh there is. A GREAT deal more than Snooki's book. I'm trying to think of a reasonable explanation for the inclusion of Snooki's book, without resorting to "possessed".
To ensure he's making good choices, we always look over his book selections at the store or library, and I didn't get a chance to skim this one until we were in the library parking lot getting ready to leave. You'd better believe I made him return the book - after noticing a section discussing pierced labias.

This isn't real. If it were, and I saw that on my kids list best believe every mother fucker that even worked for the school is getting a phone call/email.
