I'm all emotional and stuff today

For good reasons.

One of my good, good friends had a baby shower. But not just any baby shower. She's adopting a baby boy due July 4, after a long, strenuous struggle with infertility for the better part of the last 10 years. They signed with an agency in Feb and got the call in April. A birth mom picked her and her husband's profile out of 5 others. She is going to be a mom, which is all she ever wanted. And I was tearing up (dude get it together) at her shower. I am so happy for them to join us on the dark side of WTF is going on land. Parenting is rough but totally worth it, and they deserve to know what that means. 

And I went from this awesomely deserving baby shower to meet up with a friend I've drifted away from recently. No drama - just too much on our plates. And we laughed and connected for hours. So fun. I need to get out more.

That being said my old raggedy ass is going to bed soon.
