Duck Soup

I put Duck Soup on Netflix this morning, and I don't get it.  It's not really funny and it's of boring.   What am I missing?

The Marx Brothers movie? I love the Marx Brothers. This isn't one of my favorite movies of theirs but I think it's funny. I love Groucho's quips and the mirror scene is classic. My favorite movie of theirs is A Day at the Races. A lot of their material is taken from the old vaudeville days so I can see how some people today wouldn't get into it.

I liked it! That final scene with the woman singing is great.

A Night At the Opera is my favorite Marx Brothers movie. Given some others a chance - they're definitely zanny but classic.

Duck Soup wasn't my favorite of the Marx brothers movies either, but I definitely appreciated it more after watching a few of their other movies.
