My mom lives in another state. She called tonight and was all breezy like and said " so I was clicking around my computer and saw a button called gmail. (She does not use/have a gmail account) I clicked on it and started seeing all your emails. I knew they were yours because I recognized the name of your lawyer. I didn't know what to do so I started deleting all the emails."
Ok so obviously I forgot to log out last time we were there. My bad. But to delete all my emails? About a week ago I logged in and noticed my inbox view was different and all my emails were gone. Cue fucking panic on my end trying to retrieve important email communications from my trash.
Why would deleting stuff be the first thing to pop into someones mind?
I have an account for my school that is hosted by gmail and on the right below my e-mails in my inbox it shows account activity and has a link for details. From there you can log out all other places that it is open if you need too. Obviously not helpful if you didn't realize it was open other places but you should be able to check if she still has access.
Lol. This reminds me of the time my MIL started dipping through H's phone to see more pictures (there was a pic of our cat on the screen saver) and ended up ordering some 100.00 service. Thankfully she fessed up right away and he was able to call them and beg them to cancel it. This was at midnight. Lol at the olds.
Oh boy. Why would she delete them if she didn't know what they were? Were you able to retrieve them from trash?
I have no earthly idea. I'm pretty sure I got them all out of the trash? IDK
she didn't even say sorry. She was really defensive. Like she didn't know any better so I shouldn't be mad.
My mom does the 'i know i fucked up but i wont cop to it and im going to blame you instead' shit too and I haaaaaaaate it. She told her entire office I was pregnant and a few months ago told my grandpa we were trying for kids and got pissed at me for being annoyed at her.
she opened your email, saw that she got in and started reading shit. Then she didn't know how to mark as unread, and decided that this tactic could work.
