I'm finally going to a chiro to hopefully resolve my back issues that started happening when I was pregnant. I think I might need massage, but I'm not a doctor. So what do I know. Basically I have a huge knot on the left side of my spine between the area of a little above my bra strap to a little below my bra strap. What should I ask the chiro to do/ what should i expect??

When I first went when I was pregnant I described my symptoms and he had me do a few things and report how I was feeling. He did a few things to help further diagnose/get a plan of action. Just be specific about your symptoms and they'll take it from there. This reminds me I need to call and make an appointment.
Most chiropractors will take x-rays and develop a treatment plan based on what they find. They'll take your medical history and ask you questions about your pain.
Yeah and she said it would take a LONG time for her to work out this huge knot... And i should probably see a chiropractor.
i don't know if I need an adjustment, or it's just muscular, but it's getting worse. Which is bad, bc it's been so painful it's been disrupting my sleep for a long time...

Ugh, that sounds terrible. I hope the chiro works for you.

Ok, I think I've been seeing my chiro for too long. I call - crying - and they say "Come in, we'll fit you in" and I go in and I say "Yes, it hurts right there" and he uses the aqua bed, a tens machine, hot pads, massage, and then cracks me. I just point and he fixes.

The adjustment will help to loosen up everything and can release the pressure/knotting. My (amazing love him would have his babies if I could) chiro doesn't just twist and crack. He gets me all smooshy and relaxed and then does what can only be described as CPR compressions to my should blades and straight down my spine.
