I think I am feeling the baby move.

I think. I´m not really sure, because I don´t really know what they are supposed to feel like, but it´s like butterflies in my uterus, which is what I am told they feel like.  It still seems pretty early though, doesn´t it?

I felt occasional flutters starting at 16.5 weeks so it may not be too early for you!

I can't see your ticker today, but you're 17-18 weeks, right? With DD, I felt flutters starting at 16 weeks. Not too early!

I'm in the same boat - there are time I think I feel something, but it's hard to tell. For me it feels more like gas bubbles, but without the bloating

I have an anterior placenta though, so I know that blocks some of the movement.

I starting feeling movement right around that time. It felt like a fish squirming around!

Nope, I started to feel it when I would lie down around 17 weeks. I described the same thing to my OBGYN and she said it was the baby. Now the kicks I feel are what I can describe as a pre-fart, lol (the feeling like your going to need to fart soon). Which probably makes no sense to anyone else..

Now they are just a little stronger and more often

Mine always felt like little bumps. Even with B. Like he was doing swimmers turns off the sides of my uterus. I never got the flutter feeling.

But I've had anterior placenta with both. So maybe that's why.

I think you are just a week or so behind me. I have been feeling movement for the past 2 weeks or so (this is my first).

Some of mine feel like this also - I wonder if it does have to do with having an anterior placenta.

I felt the first movement just past 18 weeks. It was actually more like a poke, but I didn't feel that type again for a few weeks.

Mostly it was the gassy bubble type. When I didn't fart shortly after I knew it was the baby.

Even know I still get those type of movements occasionally (26 weeks tomorrow)

Not too early. I felt mine at about 17 weeks I believe?? Felt like a ripple inside the first time, then tiny pokes and bubbles. It's so fun!

Not too early, I felt the first flutters at 15.4 weeks and then he moved to a different spot at 17 wreks and I didn't feel anything again until 20.

My doctor told me that if you think it might be movement, it definitely is. If it's anything elsethan baby, you'll know.

I felt my first movement around 16 weeks- it was like a little bubble or butterfly, days later I felt it again and it was like I was being tickled from the inside. Everyone is different, but I think you definitely had movement!

I have an anterior placenta but started feeling things at a little after 16 weeks. Apparently this is one active baby!

Now at almost 20 weeks, it sometimes feels like when your stomach drops on a ride or going over a hill. I also second the poster who said the "pre-fart feeling." Lol, yup.
