Don't beat yourself up! I know, easier said than done, but it makes me sad to hear that you feel disgusted with yourself. You look beautiful in your family siggy pic.
I used to travel for a month at a time for work and know how hard it is to eat out every meal. Do you have refrigeration available to keep some produce on hand or some ingredients for sandwiches?
I'm sorry you are feeling this way. I know it will seem forced given that you are talking about being down on yourself but you are seriously beautiful.
And FWIW, I don't ever buy shorts. I watched an Oprah episode once where the fashion expert said that the eye is drawn to wherever the fabric ends and he encouraged women to never buy shorts above the knee, since that is the "fattest" part of anyone's leg. That stuck with me and now I only buy Bermuda shorts or capris. The same goes with dresses- nothing shorter than the knee for me. I find that I have a lot more confidence wearing longer styles and they can still be really fashionable and not so "mommy."
You know what you need? A night of playing this. Seriously, it is a game MADE for your personality. I wish we lived closer because I would totally have you over to play!

I agree with Beener about the shorts. I do not own a pair that go above my knees because I am super self conscious about my thighs. You are secksy recksy and you know it! And I am certain Chris thinks so too, even if he didn't make any French toast for you.
I'm sorry you're feeling down on yourself You're beautiful and your husband didn't marry you only for the way you look as I'm sure you didn't marry him only for his looks. Just remember that every day is a new day. Try to set little goals for yourself every day--like, I will eat a healthy lunch, or I will only have one "treat" today. I find it more manageable to make good choices that way. Fingers crossed for the job interview!
It sucks to feel that way. I know where you are coming from.. Looking in the mirror and wondering how it got to this, but still not being motivated enough to do something about. You'll find your hutzpah for it and once you start you'll be like a snowball rolling downhill. You can do it!

I know how you feel because I am in a bad place with my body right now too. I'd be happy to email with you if you need motivation. July 1st it's on. I need to get my shit together.
You are beautiful and you're an amazing mom and wife. Those are the important things.

Hey, lady. Sorry to hear you are in a funk with your body, it's so damn hard to be a mom and also have the damn time and energy to work on ourselves. I Think you are gorgeous, but that's just my humble opinion. You kick ass and y ou need to cut yourself some slack. Maybe take baby steps And focus on one thing at a time that might give you results, then go from there.
You are a total hottie. But I know what it's like to live when what you have is "not your body" even though it is. I miss that skinny girl. Maybe I'll see her some day. Just do your best and try your hardest to get something physical in every day. (Hugs)

If it's not comfortable, you don't need it anyway!
But being big isn't a reason not to wear shorts. Being UNCOMFORTABLE is!
FWIW, the ON shorts in 3" are pretty wide legged. I love them and have tons of room in the leg. I hadn't worn shorts since I was a toddler. And these are good!

I'm sorry you are feeling down. I could have written most of the post myself. We have a beach vacation in less than 2 weeks and I have zero shorts that fit. I hate shorts. I wear jeans in FL. I'm still 30lbs from pre-preg weight. I've done zero to change this. I hope tomorrow is better!

I never wear shorts...nms.
EDIT:
Let me finish my post, since I didn't elaborate at all and that was insensitive.
I don't wear shorts because they look awful on me, I know how you feel about fitting in clothes and shopping. Im in a huge hole about my clothes how they fit and where to go from here. I'm not trying to lose or gain weight, but my body isn't the way I'd like it to be. I think you can make your body the way you want, it just takes time and effort. I do think you are very beautiful, when I see your pics I see soft hair great teeth/smile and nice boobs. Don't beat yourself up about it, and GL with your pics.

Aw, I'm sorry you are feeling that way Gisa. You aren't lazy, raising two kids is hard, exhausting stuff. I haven't been great about working out since Charlotte was born either. I hope it gets easier for you and you cut yourself some slack, you are doing an amazing job on the most important things: those adorable twins!
Oh Gisa' you are gorgeous!! I think there's nothing worse than trying on clothes that don't find, it's so demoralising and especially for us women when our body image is so tied in with our self worth. You'd never hear a guy in a bad mood all day because his clothes were tight. Unfortunately it happens all the time with MOST women!!
I agree with the others though, I hate shorts and I always feel yuck in them ESP if they are shorter than the knee. I stick to skirts and dresses. You need to find some cute and comfy skirts to make you feel feminine and nothing tight and pulling on you. They are cool in the hot weather too!
You are beautiful no matter what size, don't forget that
I'm sorry, but honestly, out of that entire post about someone having a difficult time, this is your input? Maybe better left to yourself.
im sorry I didn't read every post. I only meant that shorts aren't my thing because i hate how they look on me, I posted while I was a little busy and didn't really elaborate, I just edited the post to add more of what I meant.
NO. Gisa do not call yourself lazy. You are not lazy. you are a 2u2 mom. You are fREAKING busy. And you are gorgeous.
I know it must feel very sad, and very frustrating to not be the size you want and to feel that you aren't doing anything to get there, are lazy and to blame for it. Remove the blame from yourself because blaming ourselves for things as though we had utter control over everything is just upsetting.
It isn't your fault. A lot of people struggle with weight and it is VERY hard in today's world to have that struggle and to get past it. So please don't beat yourself up about this.
You will find the diet or plan or way of eating that is best for you and gets you where you want to be, and if it's not WW or herbalife or whatever don't beat yourself up. Please rememeber that you are YOUNG and BEAUTIFUL and you have two very young children and have spent the last almost 4 years of your life either growing a baby on the inside or feeding one with your body on the outside.
Basically you rock.
And FUCK those FUCKING Shorts. They don't KNOW YOUR LYFE!!!!
Don't be too hard on yourself. Sometimes there are difficult circumstances that make eating at home difficult. Try to just pick out the healthier options at restaurants. It can be done. Have you read "eat this, not that?" It is a worthwhile read about just making simple switches to save calories.
I'm sorry and I know how you feel. I can't remember a time in my life past 4th grade that I've been thin, so it's hard to be motivated when I've looked like this for so long. I'm also in the never wear shorts club. I've been so jealous of all the moms here buying the ON shorts--I won't even consider the 5 inch ones. I hate going shopping for clothes, because I have to spend money on clothes that I feel only accentuate my weight.
After saying over and over again for years "I'm going to do it; this time I'm serious" only to lose momentum, I've come to the understanding that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. Your H is attracted to you because he sees that you are beautiful. Your children see that you are beautiful. Everyone on this board sees that you are beautiful. We all need to learn to listen to the people who love us and ignore a society that doesn't give a flip about us.
