Foundation discoloring?

I bought a bottle of MUFE HD Foundation at the end of April. I don't wear it more than a once or twice a week, so maybe 1/4 of it is gone.
I went to put it on last night and the color was muuuuuch more orange than when I bought it. Very noticeably yellowy orange. I tried shaking it up super well and while that improved it, it's still not wearable.
Did I get dud of a bottle? I still have the receipt from Sephora, what are my chances of them refunding me? I probably won't buy that particular type again if this is an issue.

Sephora will take it back. They have a great return policy and if you tell them what the deal is, I'm sure they exchange or refund.

Is it expired by chance?

If you have a receipt, they will refund you without problem. Without a receipt they'll give you store credit. Definitely take it back! Did it get exposed to heat or anything, by chance?

I wasn't aware that had expiration dates. I don't have the bottle in front of me but I'll have to check.

I don't think it was exposed to heat. I didn't leave it in the car or anything like that. It lives in a vanity drawer in the bathroom. But thanks for the info on the return policy. I've never had to return anything with them before.
