I wondered if she would like characters and stuff yet at Disney if we decide to go or if she would be skeptical of them.
Looks like she'd be fine w/ them. I thought she'd be a little freaked meeting Curious George this AM, but she absolutely loved it. I didn't catch her first grin. She had the sweetest, sappiest look on her face as she looked up and smiled at him. Then she had a little snuggle.
All the moms in line were like, "TAKE YOUR TIME!" when they saw her reaction. I didn't want to make the line wait. There were so many Awwwws. I couldn't believe she did so well with him. She was a bit freaked by Santa this year and wasn't very interested in the clowns talking to her earlier today. She's usually brave about doing things, but I figured she'd at least give him her side eye.
She should be exhausted today! She got to play a violin and a cello, do a bunch of art projects, several bounce houses, inflatable obstacle courses, petting zoo, watched barney perform, and a ton of other things AND THEN we went to my cousins house for lunch and she played a ton with her older cousins (big kid swing all by her self, slide, soccer, all kinds of stuff).
i think she's nearly cross eyed, focusing on the violin so hard. She was able to make it make noise pretty well!
lol. It's always me doing things w/ her by myself, so it's a crapshoot if any pictures turn out. I pretty much whip out the phone and shoot, hoping I get some of the fun recorded. Esp when we're outside and I can't even see the screen.
So cute!! I'm relieved for you that she is good with characters.
My niece is 3 and flips her shit when she sees any characters. I don't think she can handle that they are in her world and not in the movie anymore. It's a long time before she sees Disney.

SO adorable! Where/what was this event that had all these cool things?
PBS Kids live event.
Looks like they might have them in different cities. My friend had tickets for her and her son, but he got sick yesterday : ( So, she called and asked if we wanted to go instead. Super fun! I think the tix were $12 ea (?)
I have a TON more pics of event, but don't want to be super AW here. Just mildly crazy AW person.
Awww, so cute! I love the reactions from the other moms too. How old is she again? We were just at Disney World last week and Isaiah LOVED all the characters. We did breakfast at Chef Mickey and did a few other character meet and greets and he loved every single one. It was adorable.

She'll be 2 mid august.
The moms made me feel better about snapping away and letting her sit there a minute. I felt bad about even taking her away. She just wanted to sit there and quietly hang out w/ George. awww.
She looked like when she goes and sits next to my dad (her grandpa) sometimes and just beams like she's the happiest person in the world to just hang out next to him.
