I am trying to increase my speed (and my fitness!). I usually do 5k (3 miles.?) and it takes me 35 mins with the stroller. Without any kids on bike/in stroller 28 mins is my best time.
How long do you run? How often? Do you go by yourself or with the kids?

I had been trying to go every 2-3 days, but now that I am back to work and doing the goddamn 30 Day Shred, I only go maybe twice a week. I usually do something between 6-10 km, but I'm not all that fast. I think I average about 8-9 km/hour. I run ALONE, ALONE, ALONE and anyone who tries to make me go run with them (yes, you need to STFU, annoying neighbor) can go straight to hell.
Once I started running further my pace got better. I'm still not fast by any stretch of the imagination, but I've been able to shave about 6 minutes from my 5k time since last year. Although my pace has taken a beating because of the summer heat. Give me cold weather running any day.
I usually run 3 days a week. My mid week runs are typically 3 -5 miles, my long run varies because I have a half marathon coming up at the end of August. And I never take the kids with me, my workout time is my alone time.

It's been exactly one month since my marathon, and I haven't run since due to shin pain, BUT it's finally better!! I plan on getting out there tonight to run a couple miles; I'm beyond ecstatic!
My plan is to run at least 4-5x a week now that I'm off for the summer. I usually do 4 miles in about 31minutes during the week, and longer runs on the weekend (I'm not training for anything, so I'll probably keep those around 7-8 miles). Ella still goes to school on Tuesday/Thursday, so I'll take Kate in the BOB on those days, otherwise I go out by myself.
My running is still going well. I don't own a jogging stroller at all so all my runs are solo runs or treadmill runs. I've debated buying a jogging stroller but I look at running as 'me' time and it just seems hard.
I've got a 5k race this Monday on Canada Day and I'm thinking of signing up for a 1/2 marathon next month. If I can get my 10 mile run in on Saturday, I'm pretty confident that I'll just suck it up and sign up.
I run a minimum of 3 days a week but would love to get 4 runs in. This week I'm going to get in 5!
My typical run is 5-6 miles. It just depends on how much time I have since I'm usually running the morning before work. Then I try to have a long run once a week.
