see, i hate that nectarine season coincides with peach season because my husband, when sent to the store with a pregnant woman's explicit instructions to BRING HOME PEACHES, keeps bringing me nectarines. we even had a tutorial!
he's a very smart man. but he rejected most fruit and all vegetables as a child, so it's a steep learning curve.
I don't like the super fuzzy outside, but I agree, the meat of the fruit is really good. A place near me does an amazing peach cobbler. So freaking good.

theoretically. but then he's all "they're next to each other at the store!" lol.
the most recent visit, he returned with 4 peaches and 0 nectarines. i did a dance of joy. then L ate 3 of the peaches, so now i'm sad again.
