I have a droid but SD saved up and bought an iPhone so she has facetime. This punk kid is harassing her, he likes her I guess and he is calling repeatedly. I got on and told him not to call again. He tried one more time from his friends account and I yelled at him and he's gone for now. She's worried he will start up again while we are at work. I googled and its saying there's nothing you can do. How is that possible?
He's using an iPod, not a phone so I can't block his number. Is there really no way to block this kid?
On another note, she doesn't want me to tell her dad or her mom. I'm the only one she told (yayyyyy I have the warm fuzzies)
Can you uninstall FaceTime from her phone? If not, I'd call his parents and let them know that their son is going to be reported to the police for harassment if he doesn't leave your SD alone.
They are 12. She uses face time to talk to her mom while she is here so I hate to disable it. Threatening police and trying to find his parents number was my next move but come on Apple, there should be a way to block somebody!

looks like you have to turn FT off or call the police. but I did find this:
discussions.apple.com/thread/4548058?start=0&tstart=0 If you go to your settings for FaceTime, you will find a section labeled, "You can be reached by FaceTime at:" Your phone number will be there, as will any email address that you have associated with your phone. Uncheck any or all email addresses.
I believe that you will need at least 1 email address in order to contact a person who is using an iPod Touch or iPad. If the address that you use is receiving unwanted FaceTime calls, then you will need to add a different email address which you can be reached, and make sure that the new one is the only address checked in your settings. This also works the same way for iMessage.
So check her phone Settings>Facetime and make sure there are no email addresses in there to contact her and see if it stops his calls from iPod. I don't have an iPod to test this.
I also wanted to answer it with the camera zoomed in on our bulldogs butt. It probably won't deter the little jerk but at least we would get a laugh out of it.
