I recently had a baby, and my supervisor hosted a little 'meet the baby' cake and cupcake hour for me at work. A few people brought gifts, and I'm working on thank you notes. There is one group of four women, who all have cubes/offices right next to each other, who went in together on a Target gift card. Would you write one thank you to them all, or write one to each of them? The only reason I hesitate to write four is that I really don't know these women well, and would likely write practically the same thing in each card and I wouldn't want them to see each others cards and find them impersonal.

"Thank you for the thoughtful gift"! "Thanks for your considerate gift!" "Thank you so much, your gift will be such a huge help!" "Thank you for your sweet gesture!"
I'd write separate notes. And if they had an issue with all 4 cards looking identical/saying the same thing, they shouldn't have gone in on one gift together. LOL! Please don't worry about that.

Okay, I'll write four. If the watercooler talk turns to 'looseseal writes pathetic ty notes,' I'll tell them I consulted ML and they said it was okay, haha. Thanks.
I wrote separate ones. And decided if they sound too similar I get a pass because I have a newborn and it's enough that I managed to write the cards and get stamps and put them in the mail.
