I responded to your teaching post, and I would love more advice from you:

Ok, you gotta break this down for me in baby talk, I think, LOL.
So they have assignments, and when they turn in their homework, I initial their agenda that they have turned it in. Then when they go home and show their parents, they will see that they have actually turned in the assignment?

The kids have to have their agendas signed every night, regardless if they have homework or not. Maybe I should send a note home saying that for the next term, I will sign (or maybe I get a stamp or something easier) it for when they turn in their homework. So a stamp in their notebook indicates that they did turn in the assignment, no stamp, no assignment.

No, I just write in there when they don't have their homework... I use a stamp, actually.
