@booby? janiejones? I should know this. I think the 2 of them live about the closest to me of the Can peeps, but I can't remember who's where. I think Janie's a few hours from Toronto, but I could be making this shit up. I don't remember wheretf booby lives, but for some reason, toronto was in my head.
oh, you should definitely try to get tickets to a sporting event (esp. basketball or hockey, if those are on when you are here....hockey is really tough to get, but possible). toronto games are a lot different than many sporting events i've been to in the US. i.e.: people actually go. so it's fun.
Oh snap!
Well, we here in Hockey town go to games!
(that has more bragging rights when we actually have Stanley though) :*(
lots of ppl from MI trek out for the Caribana festival. I don't know if it would be fun for you guys to attend, or a good week to avoid the area. Might want to check on that w/ the Torotonians.
Yay! Ok, good stuff. I'm pricing out airline tickets (which at this stage are just as expensive as going to London!) and picking the cheapest week in September or October.
Thanks ladies! I will pester you with more questions soon!

Correct... I'm just an hour or so out of town.
The Toronto Zoo and the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) would both be great for the boys. As would the glass floor at the CN Tower. (Which I totally just spelled in French and retyped).
I would stop by the Harbour Front Centre, it's got open artist/craft studios (glass, ceramic and textiles) plus a gallery and shop. It's free and quick. It's near the tower, skydome (Roger's Centre) and Air Canada Centre. I always throw out a recommendation to tour the Steamwhistle Roundhouse, but don't know if they let kids do it. If you are near there just stop in for a free sample of beer.
Soul Pepper Theatre puts on great shows, they are up in the distillery district. (Galleries, eating).
