You should ask yourself if you've ever used a derogatory name about someone a very long time ago and then ask if it should be held against you for the rest of your life. The woman has black friends. I think there are a lot of rappers, actors, movie producers, etc. who should be losing their jobs, then, if Paula Deen is losing her job over something she said a long time ago.

OMG--please remind her that Deen thought--in 2007-- it would be fabulously charming to have a plantation wedding wherein everyone was served by black men--just like back in the good ol' days before the war of northern aggression.
