First pedicure in over a year and first since surgery

H is gone all day so I decided to treat myself to a mani/pedi. It's my first pedicure in over a year since having 2 bunion surgeries and it felt so good to have my feet cleaned up and to have my toenails looking good again. It's ridiculous how horrible my cuticles were. I was a little embarrassed about the state of my feet with my ugly scars but the nail guy didn't seem to really care. I'm sure my manicure will last all of 24 hours with how hard I am on my hands with work and the gym, but it was still nice to get my fingernails cleaned up too. And now I'm going to take a nap and watch a crappy movie while H is still out of the house. It's been a good Sunday. And it's a 3 day work week ahead - woohoo!
