We had spackled some holes in the BR wall. Some big ones from when the curtain rod ripped out of the wall. and a few other minor places above the bed from moved artwork and such. Well, we've been living with the prints on the floor, no curtain, and the spotted walls like that for weeks. Maybe even months. Ridiculous.
Finally, this weekend we moved the bed. Cleaned under there will we were there, got rid of some things. Dusted. Touched up with paint. Drilled new holes for the curtain rod hardware. Discovered that the other hardware only had one screw which may have been a cause of the ripped out other one. Installed the hardware and hung the curtain again. Plus, we got rid of a bunch of boxed and Goodwill items that were hanging out in one of the corners of the room.
It's amazing how much nicer the BR is with just those little touches. Can't believe we waited that long to take care of it.
It's silly how small things take forever. We've been in our house 7 months and I finally went and bought floor registers myself and installed them. Had to use a hammer to get them in the holes, but whatever.

Sometimes a hammer can fix anything, KWIM?
Well if it wasn't going to fix it, I was going to make it fit. And I did. So win win!
