We have been having the worst problem with crows by our office. yes, you read that correctly: crows! They are nesting in a tree that overhangs our parking lot. Everytime someone goes outside they get dive bombed. Those things are REALLY aggressive too! I watched one dive bomb my coworkers yesterday and it got really close. We try to walk during our breaks and it is making it difficult because now we're scared of getting bombed.
We called animal control and there's nothing they can do. Has anyone heard of anything like this or can offer any advice? I feel crazy writing this and like I belong in Alfred Hitchock's movie or something but it's turning into a real problem!
I dont know if these will work, but sounds like they may have a nest up there they are protecting. From what i read...owl decoy, hang up a string of Cds ( they hate the refldction??), and/or a water gun. The decoy they may catch onto after a couple days...but maybe ur office needs to have an armory of water guns when they go outside

So, I have no advice, but completely feel your pain!!
I work at a large company and our building is in the middle of a field outside of town (think 10+ acres of land and nothing closer than a mile or more). Our facility is very much landscaped with trees and such because we are located in a bird sanctuary. We have Grackles (sp?) that crap on everything! In the spring you basically can't wash your car because it will be covered the next day. Our company has spent a crap ton of money on bird deterrents but nothing works. Its disgusting and I'm always so afraid I'm going to get pooped on coming in to work.
