SYTYCD 6/25 (I think?)

What did y'all think of the first numbers? I loved the blond/mouse girl and Jade's jazz routine, the Afro-jazz, and the second Sonya piece.

Oh, that's Malece and I liked that one a lot. The story didn't do much for me but they were great together.
Mariah and Nico are probably my least favorite right now. Both had bad nights.

I disagree with you guys some what. Spoilers from the 7/2 episode!


I really like Mariah, but I thought Brittany's solo was better overall and she deserved to stay. I didn't really enjoy either of their routines from last week, but definitely thought Brittany was stronger then as well. I had really hoped Tucker or Aaron and Malece or Jenna had been in the bottom with Carlos and Mariah and Tucker and Malece had gone home today. I give Malece props for her performance in Vegas, but I just don't think she's strong enough to continue on much longer.

I'm having trouble connecting with Cyrus' ex, Jasmine. She's a wonderful dancer, I just can't connect to her. I'm loving Curtis and Hayley. I don't remember Hayley at all from the audition phase so she surprised me last week.

I'm not at all surprised that Jade got to stay. Nigel has a serious thing for the animators this season.

WTF is up with them doing the elimination at the top and then making everyone dance? That blows. I'm watching it on DVR, so I'm not caught up.

Ugh, yes. I think he's still trying to capitalize off Cyrus. While I liked Cyrus' personality, I hate he was there past the Top12. And while I love the song BluePrint is dancing to tonight (It was used on Bunheads and was done better, imo) he's at the same level as Cyrus and needs to go soon. Jade at least has a big personality. I'm waiting to see him in a better routine. Bollywood is fun to watch, but it's a hard genre to really connect and vote for compared to some of the other genres. The routine he and Malece had last week was awful, imo, and I think it's hard to judge him from it. 



Random note: I couldn't figure out why they were doing all these military centered routines and commercials in tonight's show, but I just realized, duh, it's the 4th this week.

Mariah is my least favorite. She was bad last week and not that much better this week.

Yeah, I agree about Nigel and the animators. Blue Print was not that good this week and I think he was harder on some of the other dancers than he ever was on them.

I really liked Christina as a judge, she did a good job.
