For every.single.morning to discuss our goals for the day. There's one other person, three of us total. OMG. I fucking hate meetings. And I know they're going to last forever, because supervisor likes to talk.
A lot of our departments have daily 15 minute stand-ups. Some are morning but others aren't. Everyone stands so as not to get comfy & talk too long. You briefly cover anything others need to know. But a daily, morning sit-down meeting would kill my productivity.
Every Friday I have to send my boss a list of all projects and status of task items within those projects along with my meeting notes from all projects that week. I hate it.
She hasn't been a micro-manager until this point, I'm kind of surprised by it. I know she really likes me, I'm not worried about her trying to fire me or get me to quit. She's begging me to stay.

I feel your irritation! I was on a 8 month project team that had this same setup, but the "brilliant" project manager decided to have these 15 min meetings before the offical work day so it would not interfere with the work day.
Half way through the project I asked why have the 15 min calls. Afterall, we have project tracking system and status meeting built into normal protocol. He shared that he read it in a business book and thought it was a great way to show his leadership ability to lead and inspire a team.
Maybe your boss finished reading the current business buzz book!
My team used to do this and it SUCKED! 10 am every freaking day. We stopped about a month ago. My boss asked if we had suggestions for our team. No one talked. I finally said I could.do eithouth ourmtg and maybe we could.meet 2 times a week. It is heaven now!
