Cut your kids hair?

My DD's bangs are in her eyes. She never let's me clip or headband it back. So I think its time to cut. I thought about doing it myself. Her hair grows from the back forward, so I'm afraid of just cutting straight across. Ideas? Experience?

I've cut C's hair but only to trim the back. Bangs scare me. Maybe watch some you tube videos for instruction?

I called my hair salon and asked if they could tell me how haha. But they said it depends on how her hair grows. So I can bring her in or figure it out. It's $7 plus tip to cut her bangs. I feel like that's a lot for just bangs. She doesn't even need an inch off them. I might check out videos and see if I think I can do it.

I cut my girl's hair all the time. I cut my own bangs too. It's really not that hard. Watch a couple of videos to see techniques. It's only hair- it will grow back.
